Graduated from Maltepe University with a B.A. in Psychology which she studied with full government scholarship support and ranked 1st in her faculty. Meanwhile studied in Germany as a Guest student with the invitation of Psychology Faculty of Goethe University, Frankfurt. She received her M.A. from Marmara University Social Sciences Institute, Organizational Behavior Master’s Program (English) with the thesis she wrote about “The Relationships Among Life Demands, Resource Allocation, Work-Family Conflict, And Early Maladaptive Schemas”.
She actively participated in scientific clinical research focused on Schema Therapy and Cognitive Therapy. Contributed to article written for publication in scientific journals – “Psychometric Properties of the Turkish Young Compensation Inventory” – published in the journal “Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy” (09/2011). She is certified as a qualified cognitive therapist and became a Diplomate of The Academy of Cognitive Therapy after completing 6 years of both theoretical and practical training in cognitive therapy. Meanwhile she completed Schema Therapy training and supervision.
She enhanced her expertise by participating many trainings in psychotherapy interventions in special fields such as trauma and oncology patients.
During her professional career besides academic research she worked with trauma patients at Women’s Counseling Centers and mood disorders and anxiety disorders patients at different clinics and psychotherapy centers.
She is currently accepting her patients at her private practice CBT Psychology, which is located at Bodrum, Mugla and provides psychotherapy both in Turkish and English.
